I’m Izzat Hanafi, a PhD student and research assistant at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) with a background in optics, sensor, and integrated photonics. I completed my Master of Engineering degree at École Nationale Supérieure de Physique, Électronique et Matériaux (PHELMA), France, where I gained valuable experience in designing and fabricating integrated photonic devices. My research focuses on developing novel photonic devices and sensors for applications in environmental monitoring. I've authored and co-authored several research publications in leading peer-reviewed journals, and my work aims to explore the frontiers of light-matter interactions and sensor technologies. In my free time, I enjoy reading and writing blog.
